Internationalization of Education Should be Followed by Nationalism Spirit

International schools are developed in Indonesia, especially in North Sumatra. Some district in north Sumatra have school with international standard of education. It is an answer to the importance of internationalization in education sector to be able to compete with foreign country, especially in this era of free competition. By international standard school, students is expected able to master English as international language and also students have ability in science same level with developed countries.

But  internationalization of Education should be followed by nationalism spirit. by nationalism sprit, students as a expectation generation of Indonesia can develop Indonesia by their international ability, their knowledge, and thinking. Because in this time Indonesia need peoples with new creative idea to solve the problems of nation.

For example, poorness is one of problems that have not able to solved. So, Indonesia need some one that able to expand the employment. Indonesia need masters of agriculture with their ability to found new seeds, environmentalist to solve environmental problem, master in medical to solve health problem of society and very important thing Indonesia need professional teachers to educate nation generation.

Without nationalism spirit, the students tend to think about themselves, how they can prosper themselves and find out their happiness them selves. Without thinking about their nation, eventhough their will   leave their nation with downfall.

We can imagine if potential peoples in Indonesia don’t have nationalism spirit, so they will leave Indonesia and work in foreign country to get their happiness there. They deliver their knowledge and ability that they get from Indonesia to the foreign country. Eventhough Indonesia it self as their nation pay more expensive to import the experts from foreign country. It is sad right! and also Indonesia will controlled by foreign country and without awareness Indonesia will colonized again by foreign country with different way because the welfare only had by foreigner but the poor people in Indonesia it self will poorer and suffer.

Be supposed, potential peoples in Indonesia that graduated from international school should be have nationalism spirit, by nationalism sprit that I told before, they can spend their ideas and thinking to develop Indonesia as their nation. so, Indonesia unnecessary to pay expensively to import experts from foreign country and also Indonesian society will get welfare by themselves.

My hope to all students in Indonesia especially students of international school have nationalism spirit to build up Indonesia to be developed country, to clear poorness problem and to make welfare our society. Friends we must aware, this is our responsible as generation of Indonesia. this is our country, our nation,  here we born and we grew up here. friends, Indonesia need us. let’s increase sprit of nationalism, love our nation, and save Indonesia from colonized.

And hopefully, our government think about it. They should take care to Indonesian peoples  with high potential, high ability, high knowledge and also high nationalism, so the peoples with will not find out their happiness in foreign country.
